SADDLE LAKE - Police arrested a woman and are now looking for a man following a search of a residence on Nov. 3.
While investigating a stolen vehicle at a residence in Saddle Lake, RCMP members reportedly located a woman who was found to be on outstanding warrants.
A search that occurred due to her arrest revealed a handgun in her purse, say police.
"A subsequent search warrant was executed on the residence relating to the stolen vehicle and evidence of drug trafficking including more than 390 grams of suspected methamphetamine and cocaine were located along with another firearm," according to RCMP.
Tyson Hunter, 51, of Saddle Lake is facing numerous charges including possession for the purpose of trafficking a controlled substances, possession of a weapon contrary to a court order, failing to comply with a release order condition, as well as numerous other weapons related offences.
He is wanted in relation to these charges and anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to contact St. Paul RCMP.
Nicole Cardinal, 23, of Saddle Lake is facing seven firearms related offences in relation to allegedly being in possession of the handgun. She was released from custody after a judicial interm release hearing on a $2,500 promise to pay. Her next Court date is set for Nov. 30.
