LAC LA BICHE, Alta. — A head-on crash on a highway in northern Alberta has left three people dead. Mounties in Lac La Biche say they were alerted on Thursday to a crash involving a sport utility vehicle and a pickup truck pulling a travel trailer.

VEGREVILLE, Alta. — Mounties say a child is in hospital after a school bus flipped on a highway east of Edmonton. Officers were dispatched to the crash on Highway 16 near Vegreville after the lunch hour. Two students and a driver were on board.
