Cold Lake GIS charge female with weapons-related offences

Angel Blackman, a 28-year-old Cold Lake woman, has been charged in relation to a firearms complaint.

Cold Lake General Investigations Section (GIS), with the assistance of "K" Division General Investigations Section - Edmonton, have charged Blackman in relation to a firearms incident that took place on Aug. 25 at a rural residence in the MD of Bonnyville.

Blackman has been charged with aggravated assault, assault causing bodily harm, discharging a firearm with intent to endanger life, assault with a weapon, pointing a firearm, carrying a weapon for the purpose of committing an offence, and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.

Blackman is currently in custody on unrelated charges. She will appear in the Bonnyville Provincial Courthouse on Nov. 5.
