LAC LA BICHE - While extremely cold temperatures on Saturday may have put a damper on outdoor activities, there was plenty going on indoors, including an adult open soccer tournament at Lac La Biche's Bold Center. The "friendly," non-competitive pickup tournament, featured teams from Lac La Biche, Cold Lake, and Athabasca.

The round-robin tournament ran through the day, with the two top teams playing in the finals. The Cold Lake team ended up winning the event.

The mini-tourney was hosted by the group of local adult soccer enthusiasts who meet for drop-in soccer at the Bold Centre on Sunday evenings from 7-9 p.m.
