The March 13 Teen Chillzone  — a Friday night event hosted by Lac La Biche Conty’s FCSS department — was one of the last public events before the Caronavirus closures. Teens in the program, which sees groups make a supper and then participate in a fun event, were at the Lakeland Archers archery lanes for a night of shooting and smiles. The teens, ranging in age from 13-17 were at the Herb Erickson Archery Range — the recent site of the 2019 World outdoor 3D archery championshps —  for a lasagna dinner and to learn all about how to shoot a bow and arrow at balloon targets.

All County programming has been cancelled indefinitely, however, staff in the FCSS department are still working to provide links to community members coping with the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Lakeland Archers group have also now closed their archery lanes, and canceled all archery classes.
