Can’t have a parade without horses
Some floats used little water cannons and spray guns to keep the participants and spectators cool during the hot July morning that kicked off Lac La Biche Summer Days events.

Lac La Biche Kinsmen Club members Dan Burns and Colin Cote were part of the parade marshals. The ‘FRO’ on the red shirt sleeves is to recognize Mark Froehler, a Life Member of the local club who recently passed away.
MLA Laila Goodridge was waving for two as she walked the Summer Days parade route.
Northern Beat Dancers
Randi Candline performed some tradition jingle dance steps during the morning parade route. While the theme of the parade was a general one, a significant number of floats brought awareness to indigenous culture and the recently-found residential school tragedies.

LAC LA BICHE - Thousands of people lined Lac La Biche's Main Street for the parade that featured more than 70 entries, on July 30.
