Finishing up the school week, members of the boys and girls Sharks volleyball squads at J.A. Williams High School (JAWS) were practicing their skills in preparation for upcoming games and tournaments.

On Oct. 13-14, the senior boys and girls teams (players in Grades 11 and12) will be heading to Plamondon for a regional tournament while the junior varsity boys and girls (players in Grades 9 to10) will be in Lloydminster and Kitscoty next weekend to take on other high school teams from across the region.

While the boys were focused primarily on practicing, the girls varsity and senior squads faced against each other in a friendly inter-school match that took place inside the Cenovus Fieldhouse at the Bold Centre.
