Many of the program exhibits on display at the Portage College spring open house, which took place Monday, March 4 at the Lac La Biche campus, featured not only the opportunity for prospective students to speak with faculty, but also experience a bit of what each program is about. Parked just outside the gymnasium was a grader used to teach students in the heavy equipment technician (HET) and heavy equipment operator (HEO) programs. LAC LA BICHE - Portage College hosted its spring open house at its Lac La Biche campus on Monday, March 4 from 6-8 p.m.

Throughout the evening, attendees-including prospective students-browsed through the program booths mingling with instructors and academic and student advisors. The event also featured campus tours, a chance to win a student prize pack as well as $1,000 off tuition. The night also served up a free barbecue supper.

A similar open house was hosted on March 5 and 6 at the Portage College St. Paul location.
