The annual Spooktacular lived up to its name at Lac La BIche's County's Bold Center on Sunday afternoon.

Hosted by the municipality, the event drew families to a circus-themed spook-fest that took over the Cenovus fieldhouse. Carnival-style games , a fortune teller, popcorn and pop, family photos in front a spooky-backdrop, clowns, stilt-walkers and other performers all made the afternoon a fun one with lots of family-friendly frights. The early weekend event was held to let families enjoy some daytime hours of Halloween fun.

This year, All Hallow's Eve — October 31 — falls on a Monday.
