FREDERICTON — Christmas Day began for more than 500 customers in New Brunswick without power and by the night that number was down to just under 80 customers affected.

WHITESIDE, N.S. — Police in Nova Scotia say they are investigating a two-vehicle collision that left three adults and four children with serious to life-threatening injuries.

NEW GLASGOW, N.S. — Nova Scotia police say two people have died in a New Glasgow house fire. New Glasgow Regional Police say they responded to a report of blaze on Pleasant Street on Saturday around 1 p.m., and found the home full of fire and smoke.

EAST INGLISVILLE, N.S. — RCMP in Nova Scotia say a 24-year-old Annapolis County man has died in a single-vehicle crash. The crash was reported around 5 a.m. Sunday in East Inglisville.
