The government of Alberta is establishing a Kananaskis Conservation Pass that will see vehicles charged a per day, or annual fee to access the region's provincial parks and recreation areas, including those located in the Bow Valley corridor.

B.C. had argued in the Federal Court that the law would cause the province irreparable harm, but the higher court says granting B.C. the injunction is "premature" because Alberta hasn't yet used the legislation.

The province said in a series of posts on Twitter Tuesday night that these services will be reduced over the next two weeks and they will be rebooked as soon as possible.
