COLD LAKE - The Whalers Charity Classic hockey game was hosted by 86 Cancer in an effort to raise money to support cancer patients in the Lakeland.
The event took place at the Cold Lake Energy Centre on Jan. 31, and along with the fast-paced hockey game the event featured a live band, a half time shoot-out between MD of Bonnyville Reeve Barry Kalinski and City of Cold Lake Mayor Craig Copeland.
Robert Clark, the official anthem singer for the Edmonton Oilers, was also in attendance to sing O Canada at the beginning of the game.
