BONNYVILLE – Bonnyville RCMP received a complaint at approximately 12:20 p.m. of a person with a firearm in the Bonnyville area, Friday. A few hours later, RCMP confirmed there was no threat to anyone.
On May 30, Bonnyville RCMP responded to a complaint of a female with a firearm.
"As a precaution, a few businesses, including a school, were placed in a hold and secure," according to RCMP.
"Investigation has revealed that this complaint is unfounded. There is no threat to anyone."
Police say no further updates will follow.
