BONNYVILLE - A local business is out $500 worth of lobster tails after they were stolen ahead of Valentine’s Day.  

On Feb. 7, a complainant attended the Bonnyville RCMP detachment to report the theft of three boxes of lobster tails, valued at $500. 

Anyone who may have witnessed the theft, or with any information, is encouraged to contact police at 780-343-7200. 

Caught on tape

Video surveillance helped RCMP identify the suspect in a local liquor theft. 

On Feb. 4, local police were asked to attend Sobey’s Liquor Store following a theft. 

A male and female entered the store and stole two bottles of alcohol. The male suspect was identified using video surveillance and a warrant is pending for his arrest. 

Unique truck reported stolen

A 2004 gold coloured Chevy Silverado was stolen from a 50 St. residence.

RCMP received the complaint on Feb. 4, and continue to search for the vehicle.

Break and enter under Investigation

Police are investigating a break and enter at a residence under construction. 

Sometime overnight on Feb. 7, various items including a Milwaukee drill, driver, Sawzall, batteries, Dewalt chop saw, red air hose, Bostich air nailers, and bags of fittings were taken from the Fort Kent home. 

Another vehicle goes MIA

The owner of a silver 2002 BMW 325i are missing their vehicle after it was stolen from their driveway on Range Rd. 450. 

According to RCMP, the vehicle had mechanical issues, so the culprits may have parked in a secluded area. 

The vehicle has not been located, so anyone who may come across it is asked to contact RCMP at 780-343-7200.
