Multiple charges were laid and the male will face a court appearance.

Two trucks stolen from behind homes

The local detachment is on the hunt for two GMC Sierra trucks that were stolen from back alleys within days of each other.

Members responded to a complaint on May 17 when a report came in of a 2004 GMC Sierra that was stolen from a back alley behind the owner's home.

Officers circled the area, but the white truck wasn’t located.

On May 20, a separate report came in regarding a white 2003 GMC Sierra that was stolen from a back alley overnight.

The vehicle is white GMC Sierra with a white canopy, has a pull bar on the front, and two blue fog lights.

License plate stolen

The theft of a license plate is currently under investigation.

A complainant advised his work vehicle’s license plate, which is Alberta CCC 9849, had been stolen sometime on May 20.

“The complainant was unsure when or where the plate would have been stolen,” noted Sgt. Kim Hillier.
