In perhaps the cutest spectacle to hit the Bonnyville arts scene, Les Vol-Au-Vent de Bonnyville lit up the Ecole des Beaux-Lacs stage on Thursday, March 31 to celebrate its dance season.
The show was choreographed and directed by the Vol-Au-Vent dance group that offers extra-curricular dance classes using the Ecole des Beaux-Lacs facilities. The performance capped off the school's dance season, which runs from January until the end of March.
Called "Sous le Chapiteau" ("Under the Big Top"), the concert celebrated French culture, music, and dance, as well as the hard work of students and choreographers.
"In the past we've had the concert at the Lyle Victor Centre, but because of our new school and the capability of doing the show here, we decided to go forth and try it out and it was awesome," said school principal Lise Gratton.
"We're very, very happy with the results. Students were happy, parents were excited, and it was a good season."
