Injuries result of collision with tree

Police are continuing to investigate a collision on Friday, March 24, when a truck collided with a tree on 43 Ave. There were three occupants inside of the vehicle, some of which had injuries as a result of the collision.

Police are continuing to investigate a collision on Friday, March 24, when a truck collided with a tree on 43 Ave.

There were three occupants inside of the vehicle, some of which had injuries as a result of the collision.

Bonnyville RCMP noted one had blood coming from their head, however couldn’t confirm if they were taken to hospital as a result.

Sgt. Sarah Parke confirmed the collision was a result of driving too fast for road conditions.

Charges are pending in this investigation.

Theft at local pool

Police are pursuing a suspect after a theft at the Bonnyville Swimming Pool.

On the evening of March 23, a woman had her debit card and cash stolen from the change room.

Theft at the Days Inn

A local company is out $1,000 worth of equipment after a theft from their work van at the Days Inn over the weekend.

Some damage was done to the 2011 Chevy, which was broken into at the hotel on March 24.

Police are looking for information on the incident.

Wrong place to light one

Four youth were caught in the act of smoking marijuana.

On March 19, RCMP were patrolling an area brought to their attention about mischievous youth around the Bonnyville Swimming Pool.

Officers attended and located the youth inside of a vehicle smoking pot.

“The driver passed a failed sobriety test, however a passanger was on conditions not to consume drugs so he was charged with a breach,” said Parke.
