In the early morning of 2019, while most were dreaming about what the new year would bring, Meagan and Everett Runzer were welcoming the newest member of their family.
Charlotte Marie Runzer weighed 6 lb. 5 oz. and came in at 47.5-cm. long.
Charlotte Marie Runzer made her grand entrance at 6:29 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 1 at the Bonnyville Healthcare Centre.
Weighing just 6-lbs, 5-oz, the first baby of 2019 was only 47.5-cm long.
“It’s our first baby, too - first baby for us, and the first baby for Bonnyville… It’s pretty cool,” Everett expressed.
Meagan's water broke on Sunday, Dec. 30 at home, and they headed to the hospital.
They were sent home, where Meagan was in labour until they went back to the hospital the next day.
After hours of labour through Monday night, Charolette was born through a cesarean section in the early hours of Jan. 1.
