BONNYVILLE - RCMP in the Lakeland region are searching for the suspect(s) responsible for ramming police cars at the Bonnyville RCMP detachment on the evening of May 3.
While few details were provided, Cpl. Gina Slaney of RCMP K Division media relations confirmed that an incident did occur in the parking lot at the Bonnyville RCMP detachment.
When speaking with Lakeland This Week at 9 p.m. on Saturday night, Slaney stated that the RCMP was still pursuing the suspect(s) involved in the incident, adding that as of yet, no one is in custody.
Slaney continued by saying that the Mounties are hopeful that they will be able to provide an update shortly.
