C2 looking at increasing usage
Changes could be on the horizon for the Bonnyville and District Centennial Centre as they look for ways to get more people through the door.
"One of the things the C2 board is looking at, is also the space utilized in the centre itself and taking a different direction with more of a focus on bringing people into the community," detailed Bonnyville Mayor Gene Sobolewski.
Over the next few months the centre will undergo a number of assessments, including one gauging the public's interest in the future of the facility.

Art society seeks new home
The Aurora Visual Arts Association (AVAA) is looking for a permanent space to provide culture to the community.
"We're a non profit organization in good standing for five years and we need a home," explained AVAA representative, Brenda Claude.
Sobolewski suggested the best place to start inquiring would be the C2.
"When we had our C2 meeting, staff was present as well, and program coordinator Sue Phillips was part of that. She's been tasked with taking a new direction. I would definitely encourage you to speak with her," explained Sobolewski.

ICIP list postponed
Councillors will wait at least one more meeting to divulge the projects they feel the town should seek Investing in Canada Infrastructure Plan (ICIP) funding for.
With information surrounding criteria for the funding yet to be released, council will have to hold-off on their assessment.
"It's still early days on that one. The province doesn't have the rules set out in terms of which projects will be eligible for funding. We haven't been able to obtain the information that will allow council to do their prioritization," explained assistant CAO Bill Rogers.
