Bonnyville RCMP have charged a woman wanted on warrants with possession of an illegal substance after finding methamphetamine during a search.
On May 20, RCMP were given a tip regarding a female who was wanted on warrants.
When officers attended, they located the woman and arrested her on the outstanding warrants.
During a search, they found she was in possession of methamphetamine, and charged her as a result.
Family dispute lands youth charges
It was around suppertime on May 25 when Bonnyville RCMP were called by 911 to a Kehewin residence, where a youth and her father had engaged in an altercation.
The youth has been charged with breaching conditions.
Kehewin man charged for wielding a weapon
On May 25, at 9 p.m., local RCMP were called to a Kehewin house regarding a 21-year-old Kehewin male intoxicated causing issues at the residence.
He was carrying a baseball bat in one hand, and a knife in the other, walking towards people in the houseand swinging the bat in their direction.
No one was injured as a result of the incident, and the male was arrested.
He has been charged with assault with a weapon, two counts of possession of a weapon with dangerous purpose, and failing to comply with a probation order.
Using a chair as a weapon
Police were called to a location west of Bonnyville regarding an intoxcated male causing a disturbance in a public place.
A man was charged for breaching his conditions, and arrested on an outstanding Edmonton warrant, following a May 27 incident where he was trying to fight people in a public place and throwing chairs.
He was released from custody and will appear in the Bonnyville Provincial Courthouse at a later date.
