A spike belt brought one pursuit to a peaceful resolution.
Alexandra Megan Dillon pled guilty to her involvement in an incident that took place in the spring.
During her latest court appearance on Tuesday, Nov. 20, Dillon pled guilty to being found in a motor vehicle without the owner's consent and two counts of breaching her probation order.
In May, Bonnyville RCMP located a stolen 2003 GMC Envoy that was suspected of being operated by a male wanted on multiple warrants. Officers pursued the vehicle, and when it failed to stop for police, deployed a spike belt.
The pursuit came to a stop shortly after and Dillon, along with co-accused Darren Raine Moocheweines, were arrested.
Leading up to the pursuit, Dillon was assaulted on the side of the road by Moocheweines. When a driver saw the incident, she pulled over to help, and the two stole her vehicle.
They drove the vehicle to Vermilion, where they stole the GMC involved in the Bonnyville pursuit.
Dillon adjourned her matters for the completion of a Gladue Report. Her next appearance is scheduled for Jan. 22, 2019.
