Cold Lake police looking for video footage after report of shooting

Cold Lake RCMP is reaching out to the public to see if anyone has video footage in the area of 50th Avenue, taken between 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. on March 10, following a complaint of a shooting in the area.

COLD LAKE - Cold Lake RCMP is reaching out to the public to see if there is any video footage available in the area of 50th Avenue, between 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. on March 10, following a complaint of a shooting in the area.

Two suspects - a man and a woman - allegedly shot the front door and windows of a residence before fleeing the scene in a dark coloured pick-up truck. It is not known which direction the vehicle travelled.

"This incident is not suspected to be random in nature and it is believed that the suspects were targeting some individuals who frequent this residence," according to information from RCMP. "The victims were not injured during the incident."

Cold Lake RCMP is now requesting assistance from the public in obtaining video footage from the evening of March 10 on 50th Avenue, from downtown to 38th Street.
