COLD LAKE - Police have apprehended a suspect following a reported armed robbery that happened in Cold Lake on Sunday night.
Cold Lake RCMP released an update to the situation on Tuesday morning, saying, "Cold Lake RCMP advise that the suspect has been identified and apprehended. RCMP would like to thank the public and the media for their assistance."
Background
At about 10:30 p.m. on Sunday night, Cold Lake RCMP received a report of an armed robbery at Cold Lake Liquors.
"An unknown suspect entered the store and brandished a small switchblade, then stole two bottles of liquor," according to RCMP. "No money was provided, and the suspect left on foot."
