Cold Lake – Cold Lake RCMP are looking for witnesses after a shed between two trailers was found engulfed in flames early Friday morning in the Wildwood Trailer Court.

Shortly before 5 a.m., the Cold Lake RCMP and Fire Department responded to a 911 call of a fire in the Wildwood Trailer Court.

When emergency crews arrived, a shed was fully engulfed and trailers on both sides sustained extensive damage.

According to RCMP media relations officer Corporal Teri-Ann Bakker, both trailers were unoccupied at the time of the fire and no one was injured as a result.

The cause of the fire has not yet been determined, as the investigation by the Cold Lake Fire Department and RCMP is ongoing.

Bakker adds, anyone who was in the Wildwood Trailer Court area in the early morning of Aug. 20, is asked to contact the Cold Lake RCMP if they saw anything suspicions or out of the usual, whether it be smoke or something else that could help narrow the time frame of when the fire first started.

Witnesses are asked to contact Cold Lake RCMP at 780-594-3301.

Cold Lake RCMP is encouraging the public to report any criminal or suspicious activity as this helps identify where to look, who to look for, and where to patrol in the future.
