LAC LA BICHE - A 23-year-old woman from northwestern Alberta was killed in a single vehicle rollover on Township Road 652A along the Elinor Lake Road on Wednesday morning.

Police say the woman, from the community of Enilda, was the lone occupant of the vehicle that had crashed into the ditch. RCMP say they were conducting another investigation when the vehicle was located.

RCMP, Lac La Biche County fire services, community peace officers and emergency medical officers were dispatched to the scene.

First Aid was provided to the woman, but she was pronounced dead at the scene.

The name of the deceased will not be released, and while RCMP are continuing to investigate the crash, they say that no further updates are anticipated.

Enilda is a small community of 155 residents located 97 kilometres northeast of Grande Prairie.
