LAC LA BICHE – A crowd of spectators gathered at the Bold Centre ball diamond one on a very warm May 28 evening to watch the Lac La Biche U15 Dodgers girls’ softball team defeat the visiting Cold Lake Wildcats by a score of 17-9.
It was a bit challenging at the start for the Dodgers, who found themselves trying to catch up to their Lakeland Minor Ball League opponents on the scoreboard.
However, as game progressed, the Dodgers gained the upper hand and finished with a victory.
