LAC LA BICHE - On Friday, as people checked out the farmer’s market inside the Lakeland Agricom, several kids and their families were enjoying an Easter party that took place in the adjacent pavilion on the Lac La Biche Agricultural Society grounds.
Upon entry to the party, youngsters were issued cards that served as passports to the various events taking place inside the pavilion. In keeping with the theme of the season, the party featured an Easter egg hunt through a maze of hay bales to find multicoloured eggs. There was also a display mixed barnyard chicks inside of an incubator for kids to hold, hot chocolate and sweets, as well as the opportunity to have photos taken with the Easter Bunny, who stopped made an appearance at the afternoon event.
For those eager to try their luck at some fun games, the party offered a beanbag toss as well as a unique take on the traditional kids’ game Pin the Tail on the Donkey, called ‘Pin the Tail on the Bunny.’
