The Lac La Biche Heritage Society held a week-long celebration for seniors 50 and over last week. National Seniors’ Week, was hosted in the community from June 5-12.
The week saw dozens of local seniors participate in curling, bingo and pool activities. The group also had an opportunity to square dance at the society and win prizes after socializing over a catered roast beef lunch.
The group kicked off the week of celebrations with a pancake breakfast on June 5 and wrapped with a barbecue and musical performance last Saturday.
