The weather on Saturday was perfect for outdoor recreation. In the afternoon, a small group of local softball players gathered at the Bold Center ball diamonds to get in some practice ahead of the upcoming season.
According to the Lac La Biche Minor Ball Association website, softball practices and games will take place on Monday and Wednesday from April 22 to June 20. During May and June there will be one game and one practice a week for all divisions.
Baseball practices and games will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
