On Friday and Saturday, the JA Williams High School (JAWS) JV girls basketball team hosted teams from Bonnyville, Cold Lake and Lloydminster to play in a weekend jamboree to start the high school basketball season.
All the games took took place at the JAWS gym inside the Lac La Biche Bold Centre.

At the same time the JV jamboree was taking place in Lac La Biche, Bonnyville Composite High School was hosting a senior high school basketball tournament with teams from the Lakeland Schools Athletics Association. Scores and results from the that tournament will also be updated when the information is available.
