Kids go back in time with disco dance party in Lac La Biche

Kids party featured a disco-themed ballroom, smoke, strobe lights, dancing, and games.

LAC LA BICHE - Disco was back in style — at least for a few hours — during the dance party for kids held Nov. 17 at McArthur Place. The community hall inside McArthur Place was temporarily transformed into a retro-looking disco ballroom complete with strobe lights, smoke, pulsing music, and the iconic shining silvery disco balls that hung from the ceiling.

The kids who attended the party, which was organized by Lac La Biche County FCSS, took advantage of the opportunity to dance to disco hits from the 1970s and 1980s. They also played with inflatable beach balls and glow sticks, all of which were lit up with multicoloured lights. For those who were seeking quieter entertainment, the Tea Room inside McArthur Place offered various games. There was also food provided by Costa Café.
