BEAVER LAKE - After a week of investigation, Lac La Biche RCMP are now asking for any public assistance with a file from last Thursday night, July 22. That night between 11:30 and midnight, police say shots were reportedly fired at a house in the area of Mountain Trail on the Beaver Lake Cree Nation.
Police received a complaint of a possible discharge of a firearm at a residence just before midnight. Police arrived and used the RCMP Police Dog Services in the initial investigation.
They continue to investigate the incident and are now asking anyone with dash cam footage or surveillance footage from on July 22, 2021, between 11:30 p.m. and midnight — or who may have information regarding this incident or those responsible — to contact the detachment at 780-404-2500. Anonymous information can be sent through the Crime Stoppers network at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
