Christmas is not only about presents and family get-togethers, but enjoying the festive sounds of the season as well. This week, many schools in the region-including Ecole Plamondon. The school held their night-time concert for families, friends and community members on Thursday night.
The Ecole Plamondon event, titled ‘A Magical Christmas Evening’, featured musical performances and skits by students from kindergarten to Grade 6. The strong Russian heritage of the area was also symbolized in the evening of carols and good cheer, with some of the students singing and reciting poems in the language of their ancestral homeland.
