POST staff take it on the chin for Movember

Josh Marcellin and Rob McKinley at the Lac La Biche Post went bare-skinned to start the month of November to raise money for a global campaign for men's health.

Lac La Bcihe Post reporter Josh Marcellin and publisher Rob McKinley might have been showing some skin to start the month, but they weren't doing a PETA ad or a splash on the cover of Vanity Fair — their bare flesh was only on their faces as they shaved their chin and cheeks in preparation to grow fresh moustaches for the prostate cancer awareness Movember campaign. So far, on day 4, both POSTees say the stubble friction is a small price to pay for such a worthwhile cause. "The hair is slowly starting to give my normally pale complexion some colour, and most people have stopped staring at my shockingly weak chin," said McKInley. "It's a great cause, and I'm glad Josh and I can do our part." The Post, along with several other newspapers in the Greatwest Newspapers organization are taking part in this year's Movember fundraiser. To sponsor, please go to the Movember website.
