LAC LA BICHE - The Lac La Biche Regional Health Foundation is offering up a $5,000 Christmas present for one lucky raffle winner.
Proceeds from this year’s Christmas Cash Raffle will go toward providing needed health and wellness equipment and programming in the community.
The Lac La Biche Regional Health Foundation already provides crucial medical equipment to the community. Through fundraisers, awareness and donors, the non-profit organization has been able to purchase CT scanners, assist with the creation of a full dialysis lab at the WJ. Cadzow Hospital, secure bladder scanners and bedside monitors — one of the most recent purchases.
The foundation works in collaboration with the county’s representatives and community board members with recommendations from Alberta Health Services, says Lac La Biche County’s Ward 4 councillor, and current foundation member Jason Stedman.
The current fundraiser is offering up $7,000 in total cash prizes for three raffle ticket winners. The prizes are the $5,000 grand prize, a $1,500 Christmas top up for second place and a nice $500 third place offering.

Tickets are $10 each and can be purchased at The Liquor Stop and Marczak’s Ace hardware in Lac La Biche, through any foundation member or online www.llbhealth.com
There are 2,000 raffle tickets printed. Foundation officials are hoping for a sellout of tickets.
The deadline to buy tickets is noon on Dec. 17, with the draw happening later that day.
