Wrong name

At approximately 10:30 P.M., officers checked a Southbound pickup truck. The driver, a 38 year-old male from Plamondon, was found to be driving while suspended, and consuming liquor while driving. The male initially provided false information about his name and date of birth, but once identified, was found to be bound by several court orders, which included conditions that he abstain from the possession and consumption of liquor. The male was issued a 24-hour suspension, and faces charges of driving while unauthorized, as well as two counts of failing to comply with a recognizance. He has been remanded into custody, and will appear in court in Lac La Biche on April 16, 2012 at 10:00 A.M.

Double down

At approximately 11:55 P.M., officers checked a Northbound pickup truck. The driver, a 39 year-old male from Oregon, USA, failed a roadside screening device, and was subsequently arrested for impaired operation of a motor vehicle. The male was transported to Lac La Biche, where he provided breath samples of nearly twice the legal limit of .08 mgs%. The male was released from custody on $2500 bail, and will appear in court in Lac La Biche on April 16, 2012 at 10:00 A.M.

Stopped in the Road

The driver, a 51 year-old male from Lac La Biche, was found to be heavily intoxicated, and behind the wheel of the idling vehicle. The male was subsequently arrested for impaired care and control of a motor vehicle, and provided breath samples three times over the legal limit of .08 mgs%. The male has been released from custody, and will appear in court in Boyle on May 22, 2012, at 10:00 A.M.
