The first prize — with was an $1,800 value — was a sled dog  trip for four people in Jasper including a $300 Visa card. The prize was won by Swamp Cats — a local business. The second prize was $750 cash prize, and was won by Valerie Griggs. The third prize was a stainless steel cooler with a $500 value, which was won by Art Tomkins.

The draw is a means to raise funds for the local swim club and the proceeds will be used for some of the club's expenses and purchases, says Lac La Biche Whitecaps Swim Club President, Claudia Theroux.

"It will go towards capital expenses for the club and possibly towards the  purchase of equipment. We just had placed an order for equipment so, this will help pay for that... I certainly owe a big thank you to many businesses who purchased full books and many individuals who helped support us," said Theroux.
