LAC LA BICHE - It's been a busy few weeks of construction along 105 Street and Churchill Drive - on the streets and on the lake - in Lac La Biche. Municipal crews were working on a broken water main last week, fixing it up over the weekend, just as specialized crews were moving onto the lake near the David Thompson statue to fix the lakeshore erosion barriers.
While the street-level area is cleared for traffic, the public is restricted from using a plowed roadway along the lakeshore where crews are working on the broken section of retaining wall and the rock-filled erosion guards.
