Major Crimes now involved in RCMP search for Fort Mac woman

Sherri Lynn Flett, 43, last seen on January 12 in Fort McMurray

 The investigation into the disappearance of Sherri Lynn Flett is continuing.  The RCMP’s Major Crimes Unit has been called in to assist.


Wood Buffalo RCMP are concerned for Sherri’s wellbeing. If you have any information in relation to Sherri’s whereabouts, or have been in contact with her, please contact the Wood Buffalo RCMP at 780-788-4040.

 

Original Report — Wood Buffalo RCMP are seeking the public’s assistance in locating 43-year-old Sherri Lynn Flett, who was last seen on Jan 12, 2022, in the downtown area of Fort McMurray. Sherri was reported missing on Jan 16, 2022 and hasn’t been seen or heard from since.

Sherri is a resident Fort McMurray and it is out of character for her to not be in regular contact with her family and friends.  The Wood Buffalo RCMP have been unable to locate Sherri and are concerned for her well-being and would like to speak with her.

Sherri Lynn Flett is described as:

  • Black Hair

  • Brown eyes

  • 5’ 6’’ Tall

  • 119 lbs
