ASHMONT – The annual Ashmont Heritage Days is like a big, family reunion, according to Dale Hedrick, a County of St. Paul councillor and area resident who has been helping organize the event for many years.
On Aug. 2 and 3, a parade, farmers' market, ball games, a tractor and lawnmower pull competition, and plenty of other activities took place during the event, hosted by the Ashmont and District Ag Society.
It was a great weekend, said Hedrick, with "everybody coming together."
