Cold Lake RCMP investigate armed robbery

On Sunday evening, a man entered a business on 52 St. and Highway 28 (55 St.) with what a witness believed to be a pistol and demanded money.

COLD LAKE – Cold Lake RCMP are asking for the public's assistance in identifying an armed robbery suspect.   

At around 6 p.m. on Dec. 5, Cold Lake RCMP responded to an armed robbery at a business located on 52 St. and Highway 28 (55 St.).  

According to RCMP, “The male suspect entered the business with what a witness believed to be a pistol and demanded money.”  

The suspect reportedly left the business with a significant amount of money and fled the scene in a black Dodge Ram truck.  

Police confirm no one was harmed during the incident. 

The male suspect is described being approximately 5ft 8in tall with a medium build. He was wearing all black and is believed to be in his mid 40s.  

Following the incident, the Cold Lake RCMP made extensive patrols in the area but the suspect was not located.
