Cold Lake RCMP seek assistance in drive-by shooting in Nelson Heights area

RCMP respond to a shots fired call in the Nelson Heights area, no suspects or vehicles have been identified in the incident so far. Police say, this is not believed to be a random act.

COLD LAKE – On Monday morning, Cold Lake RCMP responded to a call reporting shots fired at a residence located in the area of 20 St. in the Nelson Heights neighborhood around 6:15 a.m. 

According to RCMP, “Members patrolled the area extensively but no suspect(s) or vehicle were located."

RCMP believe this was not a random act. 

Cold Lake RCMP are asking anyone in the Nelson Heights area who may have video footage between the hours of 6 a.m. and 6:20 a.m. to provide it to police as soon as possible. 

Cold Lake RCMP are also urging members of the public to provide any information they may have as to the identity of the individual(s) responsible for Monday morning’s alleged drive-by shooting.
