Community Awareness Night offers valuable information

Long-running event goes ahead with precautionary measures in place.

ST. PAUL - This year, the Town of St. Paul FCSS took over organizing one of the community's longest running events.

While the number of booths was clearly down, Community Awareness Night proceeded with a number of precautionary measures in place. Face masks were required, and people made their way through the booths, keeping social distancing in mind.

Representatives with clubs such as the Lakeland Cross Country Ski Club, St. Paul Archery Club, Barracudas Swim Club, and the St. Paul Youth Council were on hand. Also, community groups such as Champions for Change, Franco Accueil, and the Capella Centre were set up offering information about their programs to those who stopped by.

See Tuesday's Lakeland This Week for more coverage of the event.
