Community invited back to participate in Santa's Elves Wrapping Party

Santa's Elves were busy at work on Wednesday evening wrapping hundreds of gifts at Bonnyville Centralized High School.

BONNYVILLE – The community showed up in full force on Wednesday evening to lend a hand wrapping gifts for the Bonnyville Centralized High School (BCHS) Santa’s Elves program.

For the last two years, the Wrapping Party was closed to the public as a precaution during the pandemic.

But once again, BCHS was filled with students and community volunteers.

“The generosity of the Bonnyville and greater community again has been amazing this year,” said Mark Centazzo, principal of BCHS. “We so much appreciate the help and support for the BCHS Santa's Elves Program, that we run in conjunction with the Knights of Columbus Food Hamper Program.”

This year, the Santa's Elves provided age-appropriate toys for 172 families with a total of 420 kids.

The wrapped Christmas presents and food hampers were delivered to families by Knights of Columbus volunteers and community members on Saturday morning.
