Elk Point Elementary School collected 11 boxes of food for Community Lions Santa’s Anonymous. The annual food drive is collected by playing the Gift of Giving Bingo. Each class is given a bingo sheet with various food items on it and they have to get a blackout to win the honorary winners title and a special treat.
Elk Point Community Lions member Susan Frisby (above left) was at the school to accept this very welcome donation from Wellness Facilitator Doris Pindroch. The Community Lions and other volunteers, including the Elk Point 4-H Beef Club, are busy wrapping gifts and filling hampers today to make sure every family has something to celebrate this Christmas.
