Update: According to the St. Paul Fire Department, the pilot of the helicopter "displayed exceptional skill and calmness to set down this helicopter, and being able to walk away after."
Emergency crews responded to the incident Wednesday morning.

ST. PAUL - Emergency crews are on scene at an incident east of St. Paul where a helicopter can be seen on its side in a field.
Please stay away from the area if possible, and let emergency crews work. Highway 881 south, just past the Highway 29 intersection, remains open but traffic is being slowed in the area.
