UPDATE: Missing woman has been found

Police have yet to officially update missing person file, but family say woman has been located.

UPDATE: Lac La Biche RCMP have confirmed that Nancy Corrigan has been located safe and unharmed. RCMP would like to thank the public and media for their assistance.

Lac La Biche - Some family and friends are reporting on social media posts they have had contact with a 23-year old Lac La Biche woman who police say went missing just before Christmas.

According to social media postings from her family members on Dec. 27, Corrigan, who also goes by the name Nancy Lynn Cardinal-Corrigan, was in touch with some family members late Friday night. The initial statement said she was reported missing to police on December 22, 2019, after he last contact with friends and family on  December 21. At the time, police said there was  a concern for her safety and well-being, and that she was believed to have been in the Wabasca or Edmonton areas, and was trying to get back home. 

Police issued a photograph of Corrigan. Other images were collected by the POST from her family's social media accounts.
