Flooding annoys motorists, but attracts travellers
Blocked culverts and the quick thaw of winter snow and ice over the last two weeks has caused the flooding conditions and road closures in many parts of the province's northeastern Lakeland region. Property damage and detours have affected may area residents. On Friday, however, at least two visiting travelers who didn't seem mind the watery welcome were spotted on a washed out road just west of Lac La Biche
Geese looking for a water-stop have come to the right place across most of the Lakeland as winter thaws continue to pose problems for the region's flightless population.
