GALLERY: Story walk allows for outdoor Family Literacy Day celebration

Families enjoy a 'Snowy Day' in Lagasse Park.

ST. PAUL - A Family Literacy Day Story Walk was held on Jan. 27 at Lagasse Park in St. Paul. The weather was ideal for a walk and reading of Ezra Keats’ book called ‘The Snowy Day.’ The story was spread out along the walking path and offered a chance for young families to get out, get active, and read a book.

Seven-year-old Felicity Robinson enjoyed the book dressed in her snowsuit, with a doll in hand. Four-year-old Indie Deacon carried around a chunk of snow as she enjoyed a walk and story on Thursday.

The story walk was put on by the Lakeland Family Resource Network, and St. Paul Municipal Library.
